I have been involved in radio since 1997. Being on the radio is like therapy for me, and is a wonderful creative outlet and often my only avenue for public performance.

My on-air radio history, with the most recent experience first:

WZBC, Boston College, MA. Community radio and a collegiate organization. Serve as staff DJ and created/host Magnetic Tape (first documentary radio show in the modern world to featuring PRX content exclusively >> 2004-2006) and The Book of SFX (live manipulation of self-gathered field recordings >> 2003-2004)

Radio Free Brattleboro, VT. Microradio. Served as creator/host of "Space Funk" (experimental and outsider works, etc. >> 2003).

KZUM, Lincoln, NE. Community radio. Served as co-host and created website for Other Music (experimental and outsider works, etc. >> 2001-2002).

KRNU, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Tied to the Broadcasting degree program. Worked as music director, staff DJ, and creator/host of Wordless (experimental instrumental music >> 1998-2000), The Justin and Joe show (live reviews by music staff >> 1998), and The Pay-Per-View Gummy Goat Inferno (live music/sound/noise collage >> 1997). Memorable moment = overseeing the KRNU 10-year anniversary concert weekend.
